Berkley to Bellingham

These clients relocated from Berkley, CA to Bellingham, WA. Like many moving north, they were drawn by the lush evergreen forests of the Pacific Northwest. They were also excited to experience Washington’s seasonal changes—even with a little rain!

My clients decided to settle in Bellingham. This city is a popular place to move to in Washington for many reasons. Outside Magazine has named it one of the best places to live in the U.S. And there’s more to Bellingham than just the incredible outdoor activities. A Winning Strategy

I discussed a relocation strategy with my clients and we came up with a plan for a low stress move. My team and I first helped them find a rental home in Bellingham. This allowed them to focus on selling their Berkley home and moving to Washington. Together we then looked at multiple properties until we found one that was a perfect fit for their family.

This home was for sale by owner. Therefore we took extra steps of due diligence so my clients were confident in the property they were buying. Negotiations were made directly with the seller. We wrote up a strong offer that was a win-win for both parties. This offer included a competitive price and contingencies that appealed to the seller. We also included a 22 AD-appraisal gap addendum, which can make an offer stand out. All of these strategies, combined with a great agent-agent relationship, led to an accepted offer. Now my clients are looking forward to enjoying their spacious new home in beautiful Bellingham.
